DPRAC Track Day 2007

- An open letter from the DPRAC Secretary, Janet Pilkington, concerning the track day

Dear Members,

Sorry not to be able to write to you all individually but I have had so many queries that I thought it a better option to write a short note answering all the questions in one go.
1. The cost for the track day works out at £5-00 per person : ie. £5-00 per driver and £5-00 per passenger.
2. only one passenger per car
3. Both Passenger and driver must have helmets
4. No pillion passengers on the bikes.
5. Riders must wear leathers

Because of the delay in the information reaching members and the current postal strike we are not adhering to the deadlines originally laid down.

All correspondence should be with Nick Wade who is the organising officer for the track day this year. All applications must be RECEIVED by Nick by 22nd October to guarantee a place. Because of the ongoing postal strike, there may be a limited number of first come first served places on the day. This in no way guarantees you a place, but if you wish to turn up, you can do. There will be food and drink served as well as being able to view the track.

Due to the omission in the last newsletter of the cost for insurance, a flyer has been sent out to all members with the details.

Anyone falling outside this category will be dealt with on the day with no guarantees.

We aim to be as efficient as we can and will make every effort not to keep members waiting any longer than we can help.
However with the present communication problems we cannot guarantee to get everyone processed as quickly as normal.
