AGM It was very well attended with almost double the attendance of 2018. The meeting got underway with a welcome from Yvonne. The Treasurer reported, ‘The club maintains good reserves’. The Membership secretary reported, ‘The membership was slightly down on 2018’ this triggered a discussion on our we can improve this. The Secretary reminded the meeting that we have a facebook page, DPRAC members.
The meeting was followed by an auction which raised 300 pounds, the main item was a track day donated by Ron Haslam, who recently agreed to be our new President. This was followed by a raffle which raised £118. The season long raffle for the book ‘Donington Pioneers’ kindly donated by the author John Bailie, was drawn, the winning ticket was number 68. This raised £102.

I think that you can tell how shocked I was to receive this trophy by the look on my face! I am genuinely delighted and proud to have been awarded this, particularly given the illustrious and famous names of some of the previous winners, and don’t quite understand it. It is the only trophy I have ever won (except for the occasion I was the only person in my class to finish!!!)
.Many thanks; the trophy now has pride of place in my living room.
If you are spectating out on the circuit why not pop into the suite during a break in racing and have a reasonable priced drink and take advantage of our loyalty scheme. Also keep up to date with club happenings.
Why not also join the DPRAC Members group on face book, and don’t forget our website WWW.dprac.co.uk.
Don’t forget that DPRAC has now joined with Amazon Smile. Amazon Smile is a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as on amazon.co.uk. When next making a purchase or browsing, log into smile. Amazon (use your existing log on details for amazon).
On the main page at the top, under the search box is a charity name, click on this and change to DPRAC. This is a once only exercise because the system will remember your preferences.
Dprac would be grateful if all members, friends uses smile.amazon.co.uk as any extra income received by the club goes into the Welfare Account for the benefit of Racers at Donington.
